At the school, our classrooms are equipped with smart class connection,75-inch digital touch display boards, aesthetic furnishing, projectors and lockers. In such a hi-tech classroom, it becomes easy for our teachers to derive even the most complex chapters or concepts from easy illustrations, presentation or animated videos. As a result, your child is able to learn and grasp easily. Also, with visual aid, it stays in their mind more prominently.
Laboratories are the most important infrastructure of an educational institution. NWS has got a 1250sqft spacious Composite Science Lab to enable the practical knowledge of students by doing Experiments. The Science Lab is well equipped with furniture and apparatus related to the curriculum of the students. The school encourages the students to use these laboratories to learn through experiments.
The school provides training in Western and Indian dance forms. The dance room with floor has mirrors on one wall for self-observation. At major events and functions, the students trained by their teachers and dance experts put up mesmerising performances.
Today is the age of Information Technology and everywhere around us, computers are being used for processing of information. To make our students aware of this technology, we have a well-equipped laboratory with 40 sets of latest multimedia computers, having facilities to work on modern software with access to the cyber world through internet facilities. Additionally, through Digital Aided Learning software, this laboratory provides a platform to understand specific subject topics more concisely. The laboratory is fully equipped with Central Networking.
The school has a dedicated classroom for all art and craft activities. The room is wide and airy, providing ample natural light for young creative minds to ideate. Every session with the trained instructor provides them with guidelines for working on various art projects. All basic craft material is provided to the students. Their work is then displayed on mounts that span the length of the classroom, right at the entrance.
The school provides equitable access to music and all the benefits that can be gained through its learning. By promoting traditional music education, our aim is to foster an appreciation for music, build self-esteem, teach critical social skills and engender creativity and innovation. Music education in the school is well rounded in including both Indian Classical and Western music. The genre of music ranges from “Raags” to “Bhajans and Abhangs”, from Indian folk songs to English classical and
fusion.
A library is a place that is a repository of information and gives every citizen equal access to it. That includes Health information and mental health information. It’s Community space. Its place of safety, a haven forms the world. With around 1550 sqft of area, NWS’s library has both junior and senior sections divided.
